Foxwoods Resort Casino
Foxwoods Resort Casino is situated in in Ledyard, Connecticut. The Foxwoods complex is a huge gaming presence in the region, with 344,000 square feet of gaming space with hundreds of table games and more than 2,000 hotel rooms. Foxwoods first opened in 1992 although the tribe’s bingo operations operated well before the resort’s opening.
Gaming and hospitality veteran Timothy J. Brown served as Vice President of Resort Operations for this major casino resort, from 2000 through 2006.
The Foxwoods hotel and casino complex is owned and operated by the Mashantucket (Western) Pequot Tribal Nation. Early in its development, the tribe worked with (and financing by) Lim Goh Tong, a famous gaming entrepreneur who established Genting Highlands in Malaysia.
Timothy Brown and Adventure Entertainment Cos. (“AEC”) have formed a joint venture to provide full-service consulting, project design-development management, and location-based entertainment to casino and gaming resort facilities. AEC is an operating unit of StoneCreek Partners LLC.
