Donahue Schriber Realty Group | For the Zone at Glendale Galleria, as part of our design and sponsorship services, we acted as media producer for the launch of Z TV network, a private commercial network that niche broadcasted in the zone. We also provided show control design and install for required servers, connections, and media displays.
aec R&D | As immersive environments designers, over the years we have devised interesting ways to adapt technologies and show methods to application in location-based entertainment settings. These adaptions include aspects of the EASIL show techniques. We have a comprehensive approach coming to market, that we are now beta testing with clients.
Henderson Land Development, in joint venture with Seagram / Universal Studios, Inc. | Created as part of the Universal Studios Experience in Beijing, the Starmaker store was designed and operated as a highly experiential image capture business.
Guests were offered a gallery of Universal Studios film, television, music, and video game imagery to pose within. The guest experience also included a Wardrobe Dept. for guests to get more into the spirit of their poses, as well as operator-cued special-effects and sound equipment to highlight the posing process.
A guest choosing a Jurassic Park scene to pose in, would hear the T-Rex roar just as their picture was captured – creating not only a more memorable pose but a more memorable experience while in the venue.
Henderson Land Development / Universal Studios Parks & Resorts | Executive producer for U-Link “branded” private network created for the Universal Studios Experience Beijing (USEB). The network featured custom music videos, short subject films, and a variety of special bumpers that introduced Universal’s film, television, music, music publishing, concerts, and theme parks divisions to Chinese consumers. For all content, work included rights clearance for each clips and audio samples used.
The network was displayed throughout USEB on display monitors at Starmaker, Club California, Hollywood Adventure, and at the Universal Studios Store. After this initial installation, the U-Link was also installed at the Universal Studios Stores at Universal Studios CityWalk in Hollywood and Florida.
