Film Studio Chuncheon – South Korea

aec  Daeil Mining Co., Ltd., Camnol Inc. (South Korea)  |  As film studios development consultants, StoneCreek Partners AEC provided rapid prototyping for a potential first phase of film studio proposed in Chuncheon, South Korea, involving the repurposing of a former U.S. military base.

 

Conceptual design and 3D visualizations for a planned film studio, digital creative hub, and attractions facility, in a resort community just outside of metropolitan Seoul, South Korea. The project is a re-purposing of existing facilities along with new construction, on a former military base.

 

Illustration work shown here is a product of aec‘s Rapid Prototyping Unit, combining feasibility results with preliminary project scaling, layout, and overall guest experiential design – created to assist Ownership group in confirming design intent and project budgets.

Strategic Marketing – Kyōtei Hydroplane Boat Racing

Leisure Channel Japan  |  Review and recommendations for increasing the venue spectator experience, and televised viewer experience, for Kyotei racing in Japan. Hydroplane boat racing is one of a few varieties of public wagering allowed under Japan’s gambling laws. The sport features professional drivers guiding speeding boats around a set course. Races take place at established venues located throughout the country.

 

At the time of the work, to boost attendance many of Japan’s 24 Boat Race venues offer services including information corners, general and reserved seating for races, restaurants, and shops, as well as facilities for children and game arcades.

Tokyo Dome Corp.  |   In our capacity as global real estate consultants, in this instance in Tokyo Prefecture (Japan).  Experiential guest programming and leasing mix recommendations, for repurposed amusement park adjacent to the Tokyo Dome.   The project as developed was dubbed, LaQua at Tokyo Dome.

Feasibility Study – Hyatt Regency Long Beach

Hyatt Development Corp.  |  Feasibility study with facility recommendations, for Urban Development Action Grant application in connection with development of the Hyatt Regency Long Beach.

 

As redevelopment consultants, a market study and financial projections were prepared to accompany client’s application for Urban Development Action Grant (UDAG) funds, as part of developing this major convention hotel to be located in redevelopment project area in downtown Long Beach.

 

The 528-room Hyatt Regency Long Beach Convention Center at the time was a proposed lodging development to be located in a redevelopment project area along Shoreline Drive in the heart of downtown Long Beach.
